Silver ring with tanzanite – one of a kind

In the center an oval tanzanite, with two small round ones on either side. All three are bright blue, with a soft luster that comes alive especially in daylight.

Tanzanite is a rare gemstone found only in Tanzania. Known for its blue with a hint of purple – sometimes more one, sometimes the other. It is precisely that elusiveness that makes the stone so special.

I set them in a closed setting on a narrow, smooth silver band. The design is quiet, allowing the color and proportion of the stones to speak for themselves.

Made by hand in my studio in Eindhoven. One of a kind – this specimen only exists once.
